Walker County Jail Visitation

Walker County Jail visitation is handled through NCIC account setup according to the county's official visitation policies. The county page gives separate windows for off-site and on-site visits. It does not publish a full captured dress code, contraband list, child visitor rule, or visit-length rule in the research material, so visitors should confirm identification and entry limits with the jail before travel.

On-site scheduling has a longer lead time than off-site scheduling. That is a local rule worth checking before a trip to Huntsville, especially when a person has just been booked or when the housing assignment is still changing. The jail's mail and money rules use different addresses. Regular letters and cards go to the Walker County mail processing address in Longview.
